Abstract

تناولت الدراسة موضوع الإسکان الشعبي بمصر والتحديات التي تواجهه وسبل معالجتها حيث احتلت مشکلة الإسکان وبالذات الإسکان الشعبي مشکلة من أکبر المشاکل التي تواجه مصر في القرن الحادي والعشرين وخاصة فيما يتعلق بالامتداد العشوائي مع دراسة الظروف الاقتصادية والاجتماعية والعمرانية والتنظيمية والإدارية التي ترتب عليها انتشار الإسکان العشوائي وأن السبب في ذلک هو انعدام التخطيط الجيد وعدم مراعاة الزيادات السکانية المحتملة فلما لم تجد هذه الزيادة مخططات رسمية لمواجهة المشکلة فمن المؤکد لجؤها للأساليب غير الرسمية (العشوائية) وتعرضت الدراسة لسلبيات وإيجابيات الإسکان العشوائي وطرق معالجة سلبياته ودور الدولة في توفير مشاريع الاسکان الشعبي وبعض تجارب الدول العربية المشابهة لمناخ منطقة الدراسة في حل مشکلة الإسکان بالواحات المصرية عموما والواحات البحرية خصوصا ,مع دراسة تحليلية لمراحل تطور المسکن الواحاتي واهم خصائصه العمرانية والتخطيطية ,ودراسة المشکلات القائمة مع اقتراح نماذج ارشادية سکنية بصبغة انتاجية تستهدف الشرائح المختلفة للسکان في الواحة بما يتناسب مع الطبيعة الخاصة والظروف البيئية التي نعيشها في بلادنا والخصوصية التي دعا اليها الاسلام .
