Classification of Parametric Design Tools

Abstract

The technological developments that occurred in the field of architectural design caused the emergence of new design trends and methods, which in turn led to the emergence of new, unconventional ideas that resulted in unconventional design solutions. This was recently reflected clearly in the parametric design approach, which is characterized as a powerful tool in the field of design in general and architectural design in particular. This paper aims to present various parametric tools in a way that helps the designer to understand and choose the appropriate tool for the design using the parametric approach, and to assist the design objectives considering the integration of multiple groups of elements and properties of the parametric tools.
 
أدت التطورات التکنولوجية التي حدثت في مجال التصميم المعماري إلى ظهور اتجاهات وأساليب تصميم جديدة، والتي بدورها أدت إلى ظهور أفکار جديدة غير تقليدية نتج عنها حلول تصميمة غير تقليدية. وقد انعکس ذلک مؤخ ًرا بشکل واضح في ظهور منهج التصميم البارامتري، والذي يتميز بأنه أداة قوية في مجال التصميم بشکل عام والتصميم المعماري بشکل خاص. تهدف هذه الورقة البحثية إلى تقديم بعض األدوات البارامترية المختلفة وهي طرق تصميم تحدد بمتغيرات ومعادالت رياضية للوصول الى شکل معين في التصميم ويکون المصمم أکثر حرية والنموذج التصميمي أکثر ترابطا بسبب العالقات التي تربط بين أجزاء التصميم بنا بين هذه العالقات، ًء على الترابط الذي حدده المصمم ويستقر على التصميم النهائي من خالل تجاربه لترابط تلک العالقات ومراقبته لها، وتشرح بطريقة تساعد المصمم على فهم واختيار األداة المناسبة لحالة التصميم بإستخدام المنهج البارامتري، لتحقيق أهداف التصميم.
