THE ROLE OF THE ARCHITECT IN DESIGNING BRIDGES AS AN AESTHETIC AND DEVELOPMENTAL ELEMENT WITHIN THE CITY

Bridges and upper intersections of all kinds are considered to be of great importance in the urban and architectural formation inside and outside cities. It was common in some countries to depend only on structural engineers without interference of the architect in some of the designs. And mostly this conviction is untrue, in which as a result there are structures of bridges that distorted the view inside and outside cities, and some of which became an obstacle in developing some areas causing visual pollution as well. That’s why the research deals with this issue and the role of the architect in designing these structures as well as how to take advantage of the designs and implementing those bridges to be an edifice with aesthetic and engineering addition and to benefit from them economically, touristically, functionally and environmentally to serve the society and the place where they are implemented. As constructing bridges has become one of the most difficult and most accurate achievements in terms of design, and some of which have gained their historical importance, including What affected the region and the environment in which it was implemented, in addition to that, the use of modern technology and modern construction systems in its development, and it became a symbol of the technological development of the country. The role of these bridges led to increasing the interest in these structures, and developing a relationship between designers and users, not only for structural engineering, but also for the necessity of the intervention of architecture in its designs as a result of this distinction. It became necessary to study its aesthetic impact on its surroundings and the role of the architect in these types of designs. Generally the need tends for studies on the aesthetics of bridges and their designs, and the designer dealing with several visual elements during the design process, in which should be selected with high accuracy to create a piece of art that fits the site where the bridge is implemented in addition to apply all the necessary functional requirements For design. The research deals with addressing the importance of the role of the architect in designing and the needed requirements for these designs and providing the element of beauty with its requirements in their design.And studying the use of these facilities in providing an economic return and community development in terms of cultural, social, sports and other aspects. The study includes some of the local models implemented in the Greater Cairo region and international models to see what has been implemented and Attempting to benefit from it in Egypt, so the research deals with looking at the experience of those implemented bridges and clarifying their advantages and disadvantages for future benefit.
 
تعتبر الکبارى و التقاطعات العلوية بأنواعها من المنشآت ذات األهمية الکبري في التشکيل العمراني و المعماري بداخل و خارج المدن , وجري العرف في بعض البالد اإلعتماد فقط علي المهندس اإلنشائي فقط دون تدخل المهندس المعماري في بعض التصميمات وهذا اإلعتقاد غالبا ما هو غير صحيح و ما نتج عن ذلک وجود منشآت من الکباري أدت الي تشوه المنظر بداخل وخارج المدن و منها ما اصبح عائقا في تطوير بعض األماکن و مشوها للمنظر و أصبح منها مسيئا للتلوث البصري , لذا يتطرق البحث الي هذا الموضوع و دور المهندس المعماري في تصميم تلک المنشآت باإلضافة الي کيفية إستغالل تصاميم و تنفيذ تلک الکباري لتکون صرحا و إضافة جمالية و هندسية واإلستفادة منها إقتصاديا و سياحيا ووظيفيا و بيئيا لخدمة المکان و المجتمع للمکان المنفذ بها , حيث أصبحت الکباري من أصعب اإلنجازات وأکثرها دقة من حيث التصميم و منها ما أکتسب بعضها أهميتها التاريخية و منها ما أثر علي المنطقة و البيئة المنفذ بها ، باإلضافة إلى ذلک إستخدام التکنولوجيا الحديثة ونظم اإلنشاء الحديثة في تطويرها و أصبحت رمًزا للتطور التکنولوجي للبالد , و قد ادى هذا الدور الذي لعبته الکباري إلى زيادة االهتمام بهذه الهياکل وأصبحت هناک عالقة ما بين المصممين والمستخدمين ليس فقط للهندسة اإلنشائية ولکن أي ًضا من أجل ضرورة تدخل الهندسة المعمارية في تصاميمها نتيجة لهذا التمييز و أصبح من الضروري دراسة تأثيرها الجمالي على محيطها و دور المهندس المعماري في تلک النوعية من التصاميم .و أصبحت الحاجه بشکل عام الي التوجه نحو الدراسات حول جماليات الجسور واعتباراتها التصميمة و تعامل المصمم مع عدة عناصر بصرية أثناء عملية التصميم ، والتي من شأنها يتم اختيارها بدقة عالية إلنشاء قطعة فنية تناسب الموقع المنفذ به الکوبري باإلضافة إلى تطبيق کافة المتطلبات الوظيفية اآلزمة للتصميم , ويتناول البحث التطرق الي أهمية دور المهندس المعماري في تصميم الکباري و المتطلبات اآلزمة لتصميمها و توفير عنصر الجمال بمتطلباته في تصميمها و دراسة اإلستفادة من تلک النوعية من المنشآت في توفير عائد إقتصادي و تنمية المجتمع من النواحي الثقافية و اإلجتماعية و الرياضية و خالفها و تتناول الدراسة بعض النماذج المحلية المنفذة باقليم القاهرة الکبري و النماذج العالمية لإلطالع علي ما تم تنفيذه و محاولة اإلستفادة منه في مصر , لذا يتطرق البحث الي النظر الي تجربة تلک الکباري المنفذة و توضيح إيجابياتها و سلبياتها لإلستفادة المستقبلية بالقدر المميز لها.
