The research deals with a number of controversial issues that have been raised about some mosques, and where the controversy has come about. It also deals with the discussions about some of the architectural elements and vocabulary of the mosque and the religion opinions as well as the architectural concepts in this debate, reviewing some mosques examples that suffer from excessive and extravagant architecture which uses inappropriate masses or high costly construction. It identifies some of the rules and legal standards necessary to resolve the controversies and contradictions of the mosque's architecture. The research tackles the controversy based on the basics and the religious constrains and the controversy over what the modern technology of the mosque architecture has produced, with the introduction of a number of examples of mosques that have been controversially disputed due to the Infringement of some of religious constrains and others which affected by the technology negatively, both in the design idea or architecturally.
يتناول البحث إلقاء الضوء على مجموعة من الأمور الجدلية التي أثيرت حول بعضالمساجد وإلى أين وصل ھذا الجدل ، والتعرف على الجدل المثار حول بعضعناصر ومفردات المسجد وأراء أھل العلم وکذلک المعماريين في ھذا الجدل ، إلقاء الضوء على بعضالمساجد التي تعاني من الغلو والإسراف في عمارتھا من خلال الھيئة المعمارية الغير متناسبة او الإسراف في تشيي دھا ، التعرف على بعضالضوابط والمعايير الشرعية اللازمة لحل الجدليات والمتناقضات الخاصة بعمارة المساجد . فيتناول البحث الجدل القائم على الأسس والضوابط الشرعية و الجدل حول ما أفرزتھ التکنولوجيا الحديثة لعمارة المسجد مع طرح مجموعة من أمثلة للمساجد التي أثير حولھا جدل بسسب مخالفتھا لبعضالأطر والضوابط الشرعية وبعضالمساجد کذلک التي أثرت التکنولوجيا عليھا سلبا سواء في فکرتھا التصميمية أو ھيئتھا المعمارية .
